Fawn Plaid Welsh Nursing Shawl 12934

A lovely example of and early twentieth century Welsh Nursing Shawl .

Fawn with cream a touch of turquoise, brown and a hint of red .

Fringed all round.

Has a few tiny well executed darns and a couple of small faint marks but generally in very good order.

These would have been used by both men and women to carry baby keeping hands free to work, or to carry but today just perfect to snuggle into on a chilly winters night !
