Olive and Orange Satin Cotton Welsh Quilt 4391

A satin cotton Quilt in two stunning colours Olive reversing to Orange .

Sadly it isn't perfect so we've added to our specials.

The fabric is in excellent condition but when it was made the quilter used every little bit of her material  and so even included the makers  name in the selvedge- words running along the seam which appear, from a distance,  as dark marks ( see close-up ) There are also some faint paint marks on the orange side ( see close-up )

All hand quilted in a geometric design favoured in the Art Deco period.

Fine batting - not a heavy quilt .
