Pale Blue Art Nouveau 12621

Lovely pale blue Art Nouveau print with very pretty stitching patterns.

Reverse is a very faded print in cream and green ( green  dye from this period was very often fugitive and over the years has simply washed away )

The traditional Welsh quilting includes a central coin with spirals a border of large leaves interspersed with flowers and more spirals . Then a more unusual  outer border with Sycamore style leaves .
