Outstanding Red Paisley with Baskets 11966

Beautiful double sided Red Paisley Welsh Quilt.

Worthy of any Collection.

On the one side we see the more traditional paisley design with turquoise, blue and yellow.

The other depicting wonderful  flower baskets along side the customary  paisley motif.

The Victorians were prolific ,industrious fabric designers and having  elaborated on the original device  they then went ahead to add , flowers, fruit and even birds .

Traditionally hand quilted.
