Narrow Loom striped blanket from the late 19th century.
The weavers of this period managed amazing 'mingles' of wool. The main body of this blanket is a mix of natural cream with a heathery grey , whilst the stripes are built from threads of three blues' pink, red and black . As with all the narrow looms it is joined up the middle , and has simple hemmed ends.
A lovely heritage piece that is still very usable,
