Narrow Loom Fringed In Green and Pink 11901

A Narrow loom fringed Welsh Blanket .

Made on a nineteenth century loom but in the 'modern' style of the twentieth century .

Dusty green with pink , outlines of charcoal black,and golden yellow , then just a touch of cream. Fine birds eye weave . Fringed all round.

As with all these Welsh blankets its virtually impossible to say where they were made as designs were copied and spread around . This one came from the Swansea area but we are not sure how far it had traveled.
