Narrow Loom Double-Weave in Blues and Cream 12919

Rare and unusual early Welsh  double weave.

Made on one of the nineteenth century narrow loom, and very accurately joined up the middle.

Cream with indigo and indigo mix , lovely checkerboard stripes with bolder chequered  border .

Fringed along two sides.

We would consider this to be in very good order it has a couple of well executed darns and the fringe at one end has had a little crop ( we've shown this in a close-up ) but it would enhance any collection but also strong enough for everyday use.
